CDL Dump Truck Driver – Class B

Job Description

We are looking for safe and dependable CDL Class B Dump Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We offer competitive pay and a generous benefits package. Responsibilities:

 

  • Safely operate CDL Class B dump trucks to transport aggregates, soil, asphalt, and other materials
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues
  • Load, haul, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite procedures
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, load tickets, and delivery documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and crew members
  • Navigate to job sites, including tight or challenging residential and commercial locations
  • Assist with general labor tasks when needed on job sites
  • Ensure truck cleanliness and basic daily maintenance
  • Represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, and the public

 

 

Skills:

 

  • Strong knowledge of safe truck operation and hauling practices
  • Ability to operate manual transmissions (if applicable)
  • Good understanding of construction site operations
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Time management and ability to meet schedules and deadlines
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Valid CDL Class B license (Class A is a plus)
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
  • Previous dump truck or construction experience preferred
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties as needed
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends during peak season
  • Knowledge of local roads and jobsite navigation is a plus
  • Commitment to safety and company standards

 

 


Compensation & Benefits

- Pay for this position: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
